Donald Joseph Qualls also known as DJ Qualls in America is an American actor and producer. His fame was sparked by his appearance as a character in Road Trip. Since then the actor has been on 20 features, such including The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. In addition, he's appeared in over 22 shows, such as Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls who was diagnosed at age 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma is an incredibly resilient fighter. Following two years of treatment his cancer went into remission. The body of his was greatly damaged by the treatment and development slowed down. As he was raised in the poverty of his home, he longed to be financially secure. I've lived so frugally for so long I have to have that financial security or my life feels beyond my control, when he spoke to an interviewer. Looking back at his youth, he wants to do something about the bullying issue. "Cruelty makes me cry," he said. He says that his ideal job would be that of dads in real and film life. Yet he confesses "Directors do not cast me in these roles." He'd love to become father one day to be able to devote more time with his child and not be so occupied with his work.
